Meet Dr. Sama

Dr. Swetha Sama loves helping people have healthy, confident smiles and enjoys treating patients of all ages. She prioritizes listening to her patients concerns and advises them of the best possible plan to meet their individual dental needs and desires. She also provides a full range of cosmetic dental services and is certified in nitrous oxide to help treat dental anxiety. Dr. Sama strives to create a comfortable and positive dental experience for all her patients. 

Dr. Sama completed her undergraduate degree in public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University. To further her education, she enjoys keeping up with advancements in general dentistry by attending continuing education courses and staying involved in organized dentistry. She is a member of the Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Women of Austin Dental Society.

Dr. Sama is excited to be a part of the Vida Dental family as they share the same philosophy of prioritizing patients and using the latest technology to provide quality comprehensive dental care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sama enjoys yoga, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
