Common questions

Does getting an implant hurt?

Implants are placed with local anesthetic, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain. Mild soreness for a few days afterward is normal.

How long does the process take?

Most patients go from placement to final crown in about three to six months, depending on healing and whether bone grafting is needed.

How long do implants last?

With good brushing, flossing and regular checkups, the implant itself can last for decades. The crown on top may need replacing after many years.

Will my insurance cover implants?

Many PPO plans cover part of the cost. We’ll check your benefits and walk you through financing options before you start.
